Remote Senior Backend Engineer - Infrared Finance

About the Role
The Infrared core team is the driving force behind expanding our reach and influence over the multi-billion dollar opportunity of Proof of Liquidity. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will help build and optimize the backend infrastructure to ensure a robust data management system, efficient API integrations, and scalable backend solutions. Key Responsibilities
Architect, build, and maintain backend services and APIs that support Infrared’s infrastructure and staking systems. Optimize backend processes to enhance the scalability and performance of the protocol. Design and implement monitoring and analytic systems to ensure backend reliability and performance. Proactively identify and mitigate security risks, implementing best practices in smart contract development and blockchain security. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to conduct thorough security audits and reviews. Stay updated with Berachain’s latest developments, integrating security enhancements and protocol upgrades. Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on security in blockchain technologies. Expertise in the Ethereum and/or Cosmos protocol, including in-depth knowledge of consensus and execution clients. Familiarity with cloud services and container orchestration tools. Proficiency in Golang, with experience in designing and developing backend services. Knowledge of cryptographic principles and their application in blockchain technologies, like major EIPs, consensus/execution clients. Strong leadership skills and experience in guiding technical teams. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with building, deploying, and maintaining smart contracts on various blockchain platforms. Experience running validators on the Ethereum blockchain. Experience with LSD protocols on Ethereum and or/cosmos. Advanced proficiency in Solidity and secure smart contract development. A successful track record in DeFi engineering.
