Responsibilities
Design and implement security measures across networks, systems, cloud environments, and applications Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing; recommend and implement remediation plans Develop and maintain security architecture documentation, policies, and procedures Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and application teams to embed security best practices into all development stages Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, FedRAMP) Assist in the development of incident response plans and lead investigations of security breaches Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions
