We're looking for a Senior Non-QM Correspondent Account Executive, internally known as a
Correspondent Sales Director.
Using existing relationships with Correspondent Lenders, this role will drive growth within the Correspondent Channel, with a focus on Non-QM mortgage products. This role requires deep industry expertise, a strong professional network, and a proven ability to prospect, acquire, and manage client accounts. The Correspondent Sales Director will collaborate closely with capital markets and product development teams to expand business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and enhance overall market competitiveness. In addition to the posted base salary, this role is also eligible for commission. Responsibilities:
Prospect and identify potential new delegated Correspondent accounts within the Non-QM mortgage space. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing delegated Correspondent accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Present and promote Non-QM mortgage products to prospective clients, highlighting their benefits and features. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing and ongoing account management. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and underwriting, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer support. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights and maintain a competitive edge. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network and promote our Non-QM mortgage solutions. Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and account management to senior management. Qualifications:
Skills/Abilities: Proven track record of success in prospecting, signing new accounts, and managing client relationships of large correspondent mortgage sellers. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage sales, with a focus on Non-QM products. Strong existing relationships with mortgage companies in the Non-QM sector. In-depth knowledge of Non-QM mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and market trends. Benefits:
