Global Life Sciences Solutions USA LLC We are looking for a skilled chemist to join our chemistry team. You will be joining a team that develops advanced materials sets for life science applications. This requires problem-solving skills, teamwork, time management, and a commitment to excellence in performing hands-on chemistry. This is a wet lab operation, so skill using lab equipment and materials along with exceptional attention to detail to meet our quality standards is expected. Responsibilities:

Drive continual improvement of Membrane products through process development and design changes resulting in high performance, process robustness, and cost-effectiveness. Daily management of technology development with respect to quality and process characterization, on-time delivery, inventory, and productivity. Drive consistent process controls and work with cross-functional teams for technology transfer to manufacturing. Problem identification, root cause analysis, and countermeasure development, verification, and implementation. Disposition of non-conforming material. Generate and submit ECOs for manufacturing-related changes. Be a back-up for other R&D associates in the development of new technologies. Required:

BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent. Hands-on experience working in an R&D and/or manufacturing environment is a plus. Excellent verbal communication and writing skills. Ability to document and communicate technical details clearly. Ability to work in cross-functional teams as well as independently. Ability to adapt quickly to new projects and challenges. Creative thinker with excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to multi-task. Willing to work overtime as needed. Desirable:

Experience with polymer chemistry, organic chemistry, and analytical chemistry. Experience with design of experiment (DoE).
