Product Repair and Modification Technician C (Contract)

Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced V-22 Aircraft Maintenance and Modification Technician to support V-22 Maintenance & Modifications at MCAS Miramar, CA. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Position Responsibilities:
Work with MV-22 Modification & Maintenance Teams. Possess knowledge in V-22 aircraft maintenance, modification, and repair, including Electrical and Avionics or Airframes systems. Maintain understanding of general aircraft maintenance and environment processes (FOD control, tool control, health & safety). Independently assemble, disassemble, and repair assemblies by replacing aerospace components following aerospace standards. Remove and replace components for repair, testing, or replacement to ensure product serviceability. Resolve routine problems during operation, maintenance, and overhaul of products. Coordinate assembly, disassembly, or overhaul functions for accuracy and thoroughness. Perform routine and complex functional/diagnostic tests, using monitoring instruments and test equipment to identify root causes. Conduct validation/verification testing to ensure systems and components are serviceable. Identify and fix mechanical or electrical faults using established procedures, with minimal assistance. Document repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection outcomes accurately and thoroughly. Verify instructions and procedures for modifications and repairs, assisting engineering when discrepancies are found. Identify discrepancies in parts, assist with reconciliation, and inspect components for cleanliness and serviceability. Perform modifications to meet deliverables, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A clearance active in the past 24 months is considered active). Required Skills:
Experience with V-22 Maintenance/Modification. Ability to travel up to 30%. Willingness to travel on short notice to various locations, including military bases in CONUS and Hawaii. Preferred Skills:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License. Quality Assurance experience. Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED, with typically 4+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience. Pay Rate Range:
Min: $42.31/hour, Max: $46.48/hour USD. Benefits:
