As a substitute teacher you will be responsible for providing instruction to San José Unified students in a classroom setting. With 41 school sites and programs from transitional kindergarten through post-secondary, we have a variety of opportunities for you to support student learning. We have both day-to-day roles, as well as a limited number of long-term substitute opportunities. Who you are:
A reliable, collaborative professional with strong communication skills who is committed to supporting student learning. What you bring: Resume Valid Substitute Teaching Permit or California Teaching Credential TB Clearance that has been completed within past 60 days (screenings beyond 60 days will be accepted with additional documentation verifying that you have been continuously working in a public school setting since the date of your latest TB screening) When will you hear back from us:
