Job Title:
Senior Business Analyst Location:
Miramar, FL (Hybrid Onsite 4 days/week, 1 day remote) Type:
12-Month Contract
Position Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst, IT Product Design & Construction, plays a pivotal role in supporting IT construction projects within the hospitality industry. This position is responsible for coordinating design requirements and specifications, ensuring that product designs align with business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility. The analyst will help define scope, requirements, and budget estimates for execution teams while assisting in evaluating changes and aligning the evolving needs of each project with internal IT and construction disciplines.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product, IT, and construction teams to translate product concepts into actionable deliverables such as user stories, epics, project briefs, and scope documents
Evaluate system requirements, assess technical feasibility, and identify risks with proposed solutions
Support execution teams with project logistics, testing coordination, and documentation
Leverage user data and system performance metrics to inform design and usability improvements
Maintain and develop technical documentation, including workflows, specifications, and models
Coordinate cross-functional workshops and reviews to align on requirements and delivery goals
Monitor key performance indicators and provide insights to drive continuous improvement
Create estimates and contribute to budgeting and financial tracking of IT-related construction projects
Ensure resource optimization by managing allocations across personnel, budget, and equipment
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies throughout the lifecycle
Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and methodologies
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors, including engineering and infrastructure service providers, to ensure cohesive project delivery
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in IT and/or the hospitality industry
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of product management experience
Strong strategic thinking and communication skills, including executive-level reporting
Experience creating technical and business documentation and project artifacts
Background in infrastructure-heavy IT projects within a construction environment
Familiarity with Agile development practices
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
Experience coordinating with vendors and cross-disciplinary stakeholders
Exposure to IT integration efforts within hospitality properties
