Job Description The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) in the College of Education at the University of Houston invites applications for temporary adjunct faculty positions as Field Supervisors for our Superintendent Certification program. Field Supervisors provide supervision, including structured guidance, ongoing support, and formal observations for candidates enrolled in practicum courses.
This is a non-tenure track (NTT) position, and the appointee will not accrue time toward tenure at the University of Houston. Please review the University of Houston’s NTT Faculty Policy here:

Qualifications
A master’s degree in school leadership or a related field.
Current, valid TEA certification as a Superintendent in Texas.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in district leadership in a Texas public, public charter, or accredited private school.
TEA-approved Field Supervisor Observation Training for Advanced Candidates.

Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon final candidate selection. All positions are security sensitive and require a criminal history check.
