Custodian - Class II (see attached job description) Workdays:
Monday - Friday; 8 hours/day; 260 days/year; 1st and/or 2nd shifts available. Pay Rate for 2025/26 SY:
Step I = $___/hour, Step II after 1 year = $___/hour, Step III after 2 years = $___/hour (pending upcoming approval of Negotiated Agreement effective 8/1/2025). Benefits include: Paid training Uniform allowance - $525/year Shift allowance - additional $1.00/hour for 2nd shift (beginning at 2:00 p.m. or later) Overtime pay - time and a half for hours over 8/day or 40/week Longevity pay - after 5 years of service Paid holidays - 12/year Paid vacations - accrued monthly after probation Paid sick days - 10 hours/month, 15 days/year Personal leave - 48 hours/year Medical insurance - options for single or family coverage Life insurance - $40,000 (district paid) Additional life insurance options Enrollment in SERS retirement system Qualifications/Requirements: Pass criminal background check ($47.25) Pass drug test Pass physical capacity exam Union:
