Based in West Mifflin, a suburb of Pittsburgh USA, we build Automated People Movers, called APM and components for trains vehicles. Our sites have a long history of success, and we are proud to say that our products are present most of all major international airports. We are looking for a new talent to join our HR team, to contribute to the success of our growth as a VIE. This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources by deploying, developing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Good partner to managers by providing proactive, valued-added input related to their business needs
Support Managers in applying good HR Management, policies, processes and programs
Develop / Adhere to the recruiting policy/strategy and execute recruitment activities efficiently within deadline
Evaluate and come up with alternative channels of sourcing good quality candidates to keep recruitment costs down
Conduct the onboarding of new employees and benefits enrollment
Participate in various HR activities that brings value to the HR vision (recognition, engagement, AIR values, etc.)
Support managers and employees' questions
Work closely with each business manager and successfully executes HR initiatives
Conduct training of HR process related topics
Handle Expatriates immigration and settling-in related process
Ensure ALPS data are accurate and that proper instructions are given to the HRGS team
Monitor the Performance Management Cycle (PMC) including : annual & semi-annual performance review, merit increase process, people reviews and development plan
Manage various employment contract types, benefits and policies
Support EHS strategy
EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED COMPETENCES
University degree, majoring in human resources
1-3 years HR Generalist experience in a similar industry/environment
International exposure or experience
Fluent in the English language, written and spoken
Competencies & Skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage time and projects effectively
Confident and unafraid of giving opinions and expertise
Collaboration & Teamwork
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
