Under general direction, perform a broad range of program coordination, technical, operational, analytical, and customer service functions with emphasis on coordination, evaluation, and analysis of financial transactions, reconciliation packages, follow-up, and application of relevant policies and procedures. Provide essential operational and technical support to department management and staff within Contracts and Procurement, e-Business, Accounts Payable and Travel Operations; deliver excellent customer service to Academic Affairs colleges, division departments, and campus community. Coordinate scheduled activities, projects, and reports using ERP systems (Concur and PeopleSoft); handle analytical and technical responsibilities in processing financial transactions. Manage multiple priorities with independent judgment in handling sensitive situations of limited to moderate complexity; make recommendations for resolution. Communicate, interpret, and apply federal, state, CSU and CSUF policies, regulations, and procedures; address general inquiries; ensure accountability, consistency, and sound decision-making. Provide support to CSUF departments, employees, and vendors to address and problem-solve open issues. Essential Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; five years of progressively responsible experience in general office, clerical, or secretarial work or the equivalent. Comprehensive knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures; mastery of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Expertise in using office software packages, technology, and systems; ability to manage multiple priorities and interpret/apply policies with discretion. Ability to troubleshoot office administration problems, respond to inquiries, and analyze problems from a broad perspective; evaluate proposed solutions. Ability to perform business math, analyze budgetary data, and make accurate projections; strong report writing and interpersonal skills for sensitive situations; negotiation and persuasion skills to expedite projects. Background check required (criminal records check); conditional offer may be rescinded if disqualifying information is revealed. Preferred Qualifications
Technical ability to use integrated ERP finance systems (e.g., PeopleSoft or SAP Concur), familiarity with PeopleSoft finance module and data warehouse queries. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience in an accounts payable department. Special Working Conditions
