is a full-time, paid training program that prepares you to become a Workers’ Compensation Adjuster in just 12–16 months. This is an

entry-level role —no insurance experience required. As a

paid Claim Associate I , you’ll work in our Reno, NV office while participating in a structured training curriculum. You’ll start by assisting with medical-only claims and gradually take on more responsibility—learning investigation, evaluation, customer communication, and settlement skills under close supervision. With each step, you’ll be supported by your team, guided by mentors, and measured on clear milestones. When you successfully complete the program, you’ll be eligible to advance to a

and ultimately a

Claim Representative I

role, where you’ll manage your own caseload of workers’ compensation claims. Please note:

This is a career pathway training program designed to develop you into a claims adjuster within the TPA space. It is not an HR, risk management, or employer-side role. Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Learn to investigate, evaluate, and manage medical-only workers’ compensation claims

Assist with indemnity claims under close supervision

Document claim activity thoroughly and accurately in the claim system

Learn to establish reserves, evaluate medical documentation, and process payments

Communicate effectively with clients, claimants, and medical providers

Manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrate accountability, customer service, and attention to detail every day

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

Required: Associate degree or 2+ years of related business or administrative experience

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Commitment to pursuing a long-term career as a claims adjuster

Nice to Have: Prior experience in insurance, medical office work, or knowledge of medical terminology

Experience handling confidential information in a professional setting.
