Boulevard is a caring community of Christians who serves the Muskogee area. Our mission is to help people find Jesus and follow Jesus. We are a multi-generational congregation that currently averages 722 people in attendance. Our membership is made up of people from several communities in the Muskogee area. We have 3 services on Sunday, 2 in English and 1 in Spanish. Our local outreach ministries include: Celebrate Recovery, Grief Share, the adoption of a local elementary school, the Gospel Rescue Mission, Community Pantry, and the Back Pack Ministry (we provide food for the weekend in a backpack). Our Global Missions primarily targets unreached people groups (areas where Christians make up less than 5% of the population). We currently have 27 ministry teams who serve in ministries inside and outside the walls of our building.Current paid staff consists of: A) 5 full time Pastors: (Lead Pastor, Discipleship Pastor; Worship Pastor, Student Pastor and Administrative Pastor); and 2 part time Pastors (Pastoral Care and Celebrate Recovery); 3 Program Directors (part time). B) 4 Administrative Assistants. C) 3 Building and Grounds staff.

About the Position Position Description BCC's Lead Pastor serves as an elder whose primary responsibilities are 1) As a Jesus follower the Lead Pastor leads from a deep relationship with Jesus that forms a foundation by which discipleship is developed and executed. 2) Works with the Elders and staff to establish the vision, strategic plans for the church's growth, discipleship and leadership development. 3) Staff Development. Mentor, supervise and support church staff to foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
