Position Overview
The Director of Franchise Operations and Performance turns JETSET’s strategic vision into consistent, profitable results across the franchise network. This role leads the JETSET Business Administration Certification & Immersion Program and the Executive Performance Program, equipping every new franchise partner with a market-specific business plan, advanced operational tools, and the leadership habits to execute at a high level. Acting as the bridge between strategy and field execution, the Director drives operational readiness, strengthens franchisee performance, and ensures that new initiatives land successfully at the studio level.
Responsibilities Franchisee Immersion & JETSET Business Administration Certification
Design, launch, and continuously enhance the monthly New Franchise Partner Immersion Program at HQ, which awards the JETSET Business Administration certification.
Oversee a 4-day, 3-night curriculum integrating partnership culture, market analysis, real estate strategy, advanced financial modeling, marketing fundamentals, and technology mastery.
Ensure every participant graduates with: A complete, SBA-compliant business plan tailored to their market; Mastery of operational, financial, marketing, and leadership competencies; A Certification validated by a leadership panel and final examination JSBA-Proposal. Integrate personalized 1:1 coaching and veteran-franchise partner mentorship throughout the program.
Executive Performance Coaching
Lead the Executive Performance Program to help franchise partners and internal leaders strengthen decision-making, leadership habits, and goal execution EPP Program.
Provide structured coaching sessions tied to franchisee milestones and quarterly performance reviews.
Develop leadership content and tools that can scale across the franchise network.
Franchise Partner Operational Readiness
Roll out franchisee-impacting initiatives (leadership training and programming) with clear communication and training plans. Maintain a master calendar of initiatives and ensure franchise partners are equipped and trained from day one.
Partner with Finance, Real Estate, Construction, Support & Services, and Marketing teams to align franchise partners with financial and operational targets.
Franchise Partner Success & Performance Management
Apply financial and operational insights to improve unit economics and profitability across the network.
Analyze franchisee financial reports, BI dashboards, and operational metrics to identify opportunities and set best-practice benchmarks.
Conduct regular site visits and provide ongoing coaching to drive revenue growth and operational excellence.
Franchise Health Scorecard Development & Management
In close cooperation with the Head of Franchise Operations, design, implement, and lead the JETSET Franchise Partner Health Scorecard system, an internal tool to measure and proactively manage franchisee performance.
Own the scorecard's lifecycle, beginning with a foundational score based on competency and business plan quality from our new partner immersion program.
Transition the scorecard to track pre-opening milestones, measuring execution on real estate, construction, and pre-sale marketing timelines.
Evolve the scorecard into a comprehensive operational performance tool post-opening, tracking key financial metrics (Revenue, EBITDA), operational KPIs (utilization, retention), and brand compliance.
Utilize the Franchise Partner Health Score (FPHS) for single units and the Developer Health Score (DHS) for multi-unit operators to provide targeted coaching, identify at-risk partners, and benchmark performance across the network.
Brand Standards & Partner Alignment
As a senior member of the operations team, the Director will also join the Head of Franchise Operations on compliance and franchise-partner realignment calls, particularly when escalation points arise with new or existing partners.
In these situations, the Director serves as a brand-standards guardian, helping to reinforce expectations, resolve issues, and ensure partners remain aligned with JETSET’s operating model.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Mentor the Support and Services team to execute on brand standards and operational goals.
Partner with department heads to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and communicate insights that drive decision-making.
Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Success Metrics
High participation and certification completion rates in the JSBA program.
Measurable lift in franchisee profitability and time-to-break-even for new studios.
Demonstrated leadership growth through EPP coaching outcomes.
Consistent compliance with brand standards and operational KPIs across the network.
Timely, accurate financial forecasts and actionable insights for the leadership team.
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum 8 years of franchising and multi-unit operations leadership, with a track record of scaling systems and field execution.
Franchise operations leadership that turns strategic vision into consistent, profitable studio-level results across a network.
Ownership of new franchisee immersion and certification programs, including curriculum design, delivery, and validation.
Executive performance coaching and leadership development for franchise partners and internal leaders.
Development and lifecycle management of franchise health scorecards and KPI frameworks from pre-opening through post-opening.
Cross-functional alignment with Real Estate, Construction, Support & Services, Marketing, and Finance to meet operational and financial targets.
Field operations experience, including site visits, performance coaching, and brand standards/compliance realignment.
Industry background in boutique fitness or wellness franchises is highly preferable to accelerate the adoption of playbooks and KPIs.
Leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills to drive alignment, resolve escalations, and strengthen partner relationships.
Program design and curriculum development capabilities to deliver scalable training and enable franchisee mastery.
