Sales Manager - Ka Laʻi Waikīkī Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts Ka Laʻi Waikīkī Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts’ newest addition, is seeking a Sales Manager to join the Sales and Marketing Team at Ka Laʻi Waikīkī Beach. The residence spans 38 stories with residential-style guest rooms and suites, a wellness facility, a 24-hour fitness center, an infinity pool with a sun deck, multiple venues and event spaces, and signature dining options including in-room dining and in-suite chef services.

Responsibilities

Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue streams to meet and exceed lead generation goals. Represent the hotel in developing market segments and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts. Strive to maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams. Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture maximum lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals. This role requires strong sales, communication, and networking skills. The ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and then apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate and secure new revenue for the hotel.

Customer and Account Management

Apply strong sales skills to create customer value and differentiate Hilton from the competition, bringing clear value to customers and the organizations they represent. Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau and Intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business for the Hotel. Develop and execute plans for outside sales calls, industry tradeshows and customer events. Develop, execute and communicate a monthly, quarterly and annual business plan for a designated market. Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of opportunities to meet short- and long-term objectives for the designated market. Represent the hotel in all customer sales interactions, including creating proposals and executing contracts. Conduct site inspections through storytelling tailored to each customer’s needs. Coordinate customer specifications (room, food and beverage, meeting space) via the lead management system and maintain pertinent account and booking information in the designated system per standards.

Prospecting

Research, solicit and generate new leads for business opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue and meeting lead generation goals. Create and execute plans to shift market share from competitors. Engage in outside sales activities to uncover needs, build relationships and win new business.

Negotiations

Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with end-user customers and intermediaries. Provide solutions that achieve hotel financial goals while strengthening customer relationships. Engage Hilton Worldwide Sales and Hilton Legal to support contracting when needed.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications: Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum of one year of hotel experience in guest contact areas; previous sales experience preferred Additional Requirements: Ability to travel on short notice and adaptability to schedule changes Highly professional presentations and strong oral and written communication skills

Salary Range

The annual salary range for this role is $85,000-$90,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
