Executive Chef

will oversee

resident dining operations

and

catering production , leading a talented team to deliver outstanding quality and service. This hands-on leader will play a key role in

menu development ,

labor and production management , and

culinary marketing initiatives . The ideal candidate thrives on the floor during service, engaging with students, faculty, and staff to ensure a memorable dining experience.

What You'll Do

Lead the culinary direction for resident dining and catering services.

Oversee purchasing, inventory, menu compliance, food cost analysis, and production forecasting.

Ensure Sodexo culinary standards are met, including recipe compliance, presentation, and food quality.

Develop creative, high-end menus that align with client and customer expectations.

Recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff to drive engagement and excellence.

Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.

Utilize Sodexo’s automated food management systems for ordering, production, and inventory control.

What You Bring

roven experience in

high-volume, high-end culinary operations

(campus or hospitality experience preferred).

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

A passion for customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.

Knowledge of

Culinary standards ,

ServSafe

certification, and adherence to safety/sanitation regulations.

Proficiency with

Microsoft Office

and

food management systems .

A culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.

Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
