The Chief of Staff is a
force multiplier
for the C-suite. A doer with a track record of successful execution, the ideal candidate owns projects that cut across departments, build the operating systems we need to scale, and make sure leadership priorities turn into company-wide execution. This role blends
strategic alignment
with
hands-on delivery . It’s a role for someone with high energy who is structured, analytical, and pragmatic; someone who thrives on solving ambiguous problems, enjoys improving how an organization runs, and can balance execution with providing a sparring partner to leadership. Key Responsibilities: Special projects : Own one-off, high-impact projects across the company (e.g. OKR rollout, coordinating launch of new website, response to government RFPS, selection and rollout of new tools, strategic partner projects). Instill operating rhythm : Alongside the C-suite, ensure organisation marches to a steady rhythm. Design and run leadership team cadences to ensure this (weekly exec meetings, quarterly planning, board prep) including agendas, pre-reads, action tracking, and follow-ups. Process improvement : Identify bottlenecks in how we work, design solutions, and implement company-wide processes that make us more efficient and scalable. Performance tracking : Build lightweight systems and dashboards that monitor progress against company priorities, surfacing risks and blockers early. Executive communications : Prepare materials for the board, investors, and internal all-hands; support fundraising readiness and leadership messaging. Sparring partner : Act as a thought partner to the C-suite, offer structured problem-solving, constructive challenge, and fresh perspective on strategic issues. Your profile 3-7 years’ professional experience in management consulting, strategy, operations, or a high-growth startup/scale-up. Fluent in German and English. Strong project manager who can drive initiatives end-to-end with limited oversight. Proven ability to analyze problems, design practical solutions, and implement them across multiple functions. Excellent communicator; can translate complex topics into clear, concise updates for leadership, board, and team members.
