Overview

(REMOTE) HR Shared Services - Tier 2 Rep Specialist. Provides expert direction, management, and assistance to managers, colleagues, and vendors in analysis and resolution of complex issues related to service and delivery of benefits and PTO administration. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for administration and technology support for Workday. Provides consultation and guidance in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures for managers and colleagues and acts to minimize risk in all situations. Develops sustainable, efficient, and effective processes to support customers within the parameters of the department service level agreements. Markets department services and provides world class customer service. Responsibilities

Manage specialized Human Resource service delivery for the HR Service Center. Operate as subject matter expert in areas of vendor administration, employment status change administration, health and welfare plan administration, absence management, or other HR functional areas. May serve as back-up for other specialty areas. Specialize in absence management administration, including paid time off (PTO) payouts, reconciliation, transfers, bank management, and zero out. Manage the production of Enterprise Interface Builders in Workday to effectively process PTO/Zero Outs and Benefits refunds/deductions, using advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, conditional formatting). Analyze high-volume data reports to process transactions in Workday involving pay and benefits components. Conduct root cause analysis to identify solutions to daily inquiries and serve as a liaison between COEs, TIS, Legal, Local HR partners, and Payroll. Manage complex, escalated cases and adjudicate appeals within the bounds of the IRS Section 125 Plan and Trinity Health HR Policies; collaborate with Total Rewards Benefits and Well-Being and the Legal Department to resolve cases and minimize risk. Audit vendor files and eligible participant and dependent reporting; review and reconcile discrepancies with eligibility reports, unemployment and employment status changes with insurance carriers and Payroll. Develop sustainable, efficient processes for health ministries supported by the department within guaranteed service level agreements; maintain expert knowledge of HR law, benefits design, IRS Code 125, ACA, COBRA, payroll regulations, and HRIS reporting. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with health ministry staff, Payroll, Colleague and Labor Relation, HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and vendors to facilitate efficient management of escalated assignments. Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA and NPPI guidelines and adhere to regulations and policies to ensure compliant processes and systems. Perform administrative activities, including completion, review, and approval of HR business transactions, preparing statistical/operational reports, data integrity audits, and cross-functional team participation; maintain regular duties and perform other related duties as required. Maintain working knowledge of applicable laws and Trinity Health policies to ensure honest, ethical, and professional behavior. Travel up to 20% to Trinity Health sites as needed; operate in a collaborative, shared leadership environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders across locations. Qualifications

Must possess comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources, Health & Welfare Benefits, annual enrollment, process integration, and contact/service center operations, typically through an associate’s degree and four (4) to five (5) years of progressive HR experience in a high-volume environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Systems, Human Resources, or related field is preferred. CEBS or PHR/PCP certification is preferred. Experience in vendor management is preferred; thorough understanding of benefit plan design and eligibility is required. Advanced proficiency in HRIS (Workday preferred; familiarity with PeopleSoft and Kronos a plus). Ability to act as a subject matter expert on HR systems and to identify misalignment or errors in data. Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, judgment, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact professionally with senior managers and cross-functional teams; proficient in MS Office Suite and comfortable in a collaborative leadership environment.
