Our esteemed client in Chester County, PA is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits Administrator to join their Human Resources team. This individual will be responsible for administering corporate benefit programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting wellness initiatives that promote employee engagement and well-being.
The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted resource for employee benefit inquiries, collaborate with internal stakeholders, brokers, and vendors, and ensure all benefits processes are executed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs including employee enrollments, changes, terminations, and compliance reporting.
Audit and reconcile benefit-related data such as insurance claims, carrier invoices, and payroll contributions to ensure accuracy.
Maintain benefits data in HRIS and benefit administration systems; generate reports and compliance documentation as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, COBRA, and 401(k).
Manage escalated benefits issues with professionalism and discretion.
Support Open Enrollment planning, communication, and execution in partnership with HR leadership, brokers, and vendors.
Oversee ACA compliance and ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations (ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.).
Lead and promote employee wellness initiatives such as health screenings, seminars, and ongoing engagement activities.
Deliver benefits-related presentations for new hires and during company-wide meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
3+ years of experience in benefits administration;
experience with self-funded plans is strongly preferred . Strong working knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA, and other applicable regulations. Proficient in HRIS and benefit administration systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex benefit information. High level of organizational skill, attention to detail, and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information. Experience developing or managing wellness programs is a plus.
