Affiliate Operations Specialist (Human Resources) – Overview
Affiliate Operations Specialist (Human Resources) role at Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY). Responsibilities
Under the direction of HR and site leadership, provide general support to the PAGNY office and providers. Serve as the initial point of contact for employee concerns and outward-facing member of the HR Department. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on onboarding new hires through effective communication with recruiting specialists and hiring managers. Log and track applicable human resources forms and maintain/updat e employee records in HRIS and other systems. Onboard new hires and ensure post-hire data and documents are in HRIS, employee files, credentialing, and onboarding trackers. Onboard and credential multiple new providers, tracking progress to ensure a smooth process. Maintain relationships with providers and staff, informing and engaging them periodically. Lead and facilitate recurring new hire orientation and provide guidance for timesheet processing, benefits, continuing medical education (CME), payroll, and holiday calendars. Manage HRIS transactions in a timely fashion and submit change requests; follow up with appropriate personnel and escalations with corporate and H+H approvers. Build and maintain relationships with site leadership, Medical Staff Office (MSO), Occupational Health Services (OHS), H+H Human Resources Partners, Chiefs/Chairs, and other stakeholders; attend site committee meetings when necessary. Handle routine labor relations and HR inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements; refer complex matters to the Labor and Employee Relations team as needed. Seniority level
