Overview:
The Personal Training Manager (PTM) leads operational excellence at the club level, creating a team culture to drive business. PTMs should be goal-oriented, results-driven, engaging with members, and excited to develop high-performing teams.
Leadership in Operational Excellence:
Model “Servant Leadership” with trainers, staff, and members.
Maintain friendliness and service standards.
Act on business trends to meet department goals.
Implement SOPs, including administrative duties.
Organize monthly trainers’ forums.
Talent Development and Support:
Conduct monthly PDMs aligned with trainers’ goals.
Provide actionable feedback and develop relationships across departments.
Lead sales training, business workshops, and manage team promotions.
Encourage ongoing education and maintain team headcount.
Pay Transparency:
$68,640; plus bonuses and commissions for sessions.
Qualifications:
Ability to hire, develop, and hold staff accountable.
Strong social, sales, communication, and time management skills.
Positive feedback from colleagues and proven revenue-driving ability.
Preferred Requirements:
Leadership experience in fitness or management (1+ year preferred).
Exercise Science or Sports Management degree preferred; current certification, CPR/AED, First Aid required.
Instructional ability, passion for fitness, and leadership potential.
