Adjunct Faculty - General Education Instructor Pool at Moraine Park Technical College. Moraine Park is establishing a candidate pool for potential part-time Adjunct Faculty positions in General Education at the Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac, and West Bend campuses. These positions encompass Communications, General Studies, Mathematics, Natural Science, and Social Science. Ability to adapt to meet student needs, including flexibility in scheduling, workload, and type/variety of communication. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey ideas and concepts professionally. Ability to adjust to variance in communication and learning styles of students. Regular communication with students and other internal and external stakeholders. Understand and promote the educational philosophy and programs offered by Moraine Park; willingness to grow with the College’s philosophy. Collaborate in team environments to meet student needs; support students and team members in growth and learning. Experience with MS Office Suite, internet, and email. Ability to deliver instruction at NRS levels 1-6. Willingness to learn new technologies; experience with online learning platforms and student management systems preferred. Commit to continuous learning and accepting constructive feedback. Strong organizational and time management skills; effective time and schedule management. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Previous community involvement and a desire to contribute to the profession and community. Must meet Faculty Quality Assurance System requirements as detailed in Chapter TCS 3 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code. Qualifications
For Communications: Master’s Degree in the content area being taught (Content areas may include English, Reading Instruction, Journalism, Speech, Communication or Literature) or Master’s Degree in any field with 18 graduate credits in the content area being taught. For Mathematics: Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Master’s Degree in any field with 18 graduate credits in Mathematics. For Natural Science: Master’s Degree in the content area being taught (Content areas may include Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, or Physics) or Master’s Degree in any field with 18 graduate credits in the content area being taught. For Social Science: Master’s Degree in the content area being taught (Content areas may include Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, History, Anthropology, Geography, or Philosophy) or Master’s Degree in any field with 18 graduate credits in the content area being taught.
