Clinton Twp, MI , Grand Rapids, MI The Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving operational excellence across Medbio. This role oversees production, supply chain, and procurement to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services in alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and execute the company’s operational strategy, present recommendations to the CEO. Establish and monitor key performance goals for functions and direct reports. Lead day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and achievement of financial targets. Direct quarterly and annual budgeting processes for operations, including capacity and capital expenditure planning. Oversee procurement processes, material/resource allocation, and manage vendor/partner relationships. Track operational performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Build and lead high-performing teams through effective recruiting, onboarding, development, performance management, and retention. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality requirements. Provide regular performance updates to senior leadership and contribute to executive decision-making. Organizational Relationships: The Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain collaborates closely with Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams, as well as suppliers and customers. Direct reports include plant managers and the Supply Chain Manager. Experience and/or Educational Requirements: 8+ years of leadership experience with demonstrated success as an operational leader with a track record of managing teams and delivering results. Multi-facility management experience preferred. Proven ability to design and execute profitable strategies aligned with business vision. Strong business acumen and understanding of core business principles. Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles and/or Six Sigma preferred. Familiarity with ISO and GMP requirements strongly preferred. Experience in injection molding a plus. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field required; advanced degree (MBA/MS) preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform standard functions consistent with executive operations leadership within the industry.
