A big four consulting firm is seeking a seasoned FSA or CFA with 10+ years of experience to join their team as an ALM Senior Consultant in Chicago. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of ALM consulting and expand our market presence among insurers and asset managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business development efforts to grow our presence in the insurance asset management and ALM space. Establish thought leadership through white papers, industry speaking engagements, and collaboration with key stakeholders. Advise insurers and asset managers on enhancing Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) and ALM capabilities. Provide strategic input to improve and promote our software solutions for SAA and ALM. Build long-term partnerships by offering ongoing SAA consulting and outsourced services. Develop tailored consulting services for asset managers, focusing on regulatory advisory, capital management, and product development. Create ALM optimization frameworks that align asset manager strategies with insurer capital and risk objectives. Advise on investment strategy optimization for M&A and reinsurance transactions, including post-acquisition integration. Design and implement hedging strategies and overlays to enhance portfolio performance and manage risk. Qualifications: FSA or CFA designation required. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in ALM, insurance investment strategy, or related consulting. Proven track record in business development and client relationship management. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Experience with software platforms and modeling tools used in ALM and SAA is a plus.
