Job Description Job Description Job Title: Electrician - Solar Project Job Description We are seeking skilled electricians to join our team on a solar project. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in electrical IV curve testing, installing both above and below ground electrical systems, and performing terminations. Responsibilities Perform electrical IV curve testing on solar panels. Install electrical systems both above and below ground. Execute electrical terminations. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise. Perform conduit bending and wiring tasks. Run conduit and pull wire as needed. Participate in daily safety talks and adhere to safety protocols. Essential Skills 5 years of solar electrical experience. Proficiency in IV curve testing. Classification as a mechanic or journeyman in the non-solar industry. OSHA 10 certification. Ability to operate a scanner or computer. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in conduit bending and pipe bending. Comfortable with labor and non-electrical tasks. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work takes place outdoors on a 65 MW solar project in Farnham, VA. Expect a new construction environment with 5-hour shifts Monday through Friday, starting at 7 AM, with some weekend work. Daily schedule includes morning, lunch, and afternoon breaks. Safety is a priority with daily safety talks, and appropriate outdoor work clothing is required on site. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Farnham, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
