Overview:
Our client, a leader in innovative manufacturing, is seeking a hands-on Machine Assembler to build high-precision machinery. This role is critical to maintaining world-class quality standards and contributing to continuous improvement within a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical components and machines using engineering drawings, blueprints, and hydraulic/electrical/pneumatic schematics.
Utilize precision tools (e.g., torque wrenches, dial indicators, digital levels) to achieve exact tolerances.
Safely operate overhead cranes and other equipment to move heavy components.
Perform accurate measurements in both imperial and metric systems, adhering to strict quality standards.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Maintain a clean, organized work area following lean manufacturing principles.
Consistently adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Provide constructive feedback to support ongoing process improvements.
Requirements:
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical or vocational training in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
Experiences
Minimum of 2 years of experience in assembly.
Alternatively , 5 years of experience in manufacturing machine tool parts, maintenance, or service.
Proven experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and part lists.
Experience with electrical wiring assembly and basic computer literacy is preferred.
Other
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Skilled in using precise measuring devices with a strong attention to detail.
A forklift license is a significant advantage.
Must be able to work on-site according to the scheduled hours.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary
$55,000 - $65,000 per year (competitive, based on experience)
