Cath Lab Manager - Southern California
We are seeking a highly skilled and service-driven Cath Lab Manager to lead the daily operations of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Special Procedures departments at a respected hospital near San Bernardino, CA. This permanent leadership role is ideal for a clinical manager with deep experience in interventional care who is committed to quality, patient safety, and collaborative multidisciplinary care.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily workflow and ensure effective coordination between caregivers, providers, and procedural teams. Facilitate smooth and efficient delivery of care by supervising non-invasive and invasive diagnostic/interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and Special Procedures areas. Partner closely with cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and surgeons to deliver high-quality, timely, and patient-centered services. Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, safety, and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Lead, coach, and evaluate the clinical performance of staff, promoting growth, accountability, and collaboration. Manage department staffing, education, scheduling, and resource utilization to support optimal patient outcomes. Ideal Candidate Profile:
Bachelors degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Masters preferred. Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), ICU, or PACU. Minimum three (3) years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in Cath Lab, ICU, or PACU. Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive operational efficiency. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures and standards of care.
