The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the PhD or other doctoral degree under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee. Additional Department Summary:
The Chemical and Biological Engineering Department at The University of Alabama is a seeking candidate for a Postdoctoral position. This position is available to individuals with research interests in computational catalysis and surface science.
Initial appointments are for one year, with renewal contingent upon demonstration of research productivity and funding. Required Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate. Additional qualifications based on assignment. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. or other terminal degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or a related field.

Experience in computational catalysis and surface science. Preferred Qualifications:
