Overview Acceler8 Talent is seeking an experienced Hardware Architect to join a startup based in Mountain View that is developing high-performance data center accelerators for the largest AI models. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture for massive AI workloads, working across all stages of the chip design process to take the hardware from architectural spec to working silicon. Base pay range $300,000.00/yr - $400,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Stock options Responsibilities Deliver performant silicon architectures at the subsystem and full-chip level. As the architecture is completed, contribute to shipping the product (SW/HW co-design, uArch, verification, implementation, and bring-up). Use SystemC models to simulate and validate architectural changes and optimize performance. Work closely with micro-architects, designers, physical designers, verification engineers and system SW engineers to create working silicon. Qualifications MSEE or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 10+ years silicon design and architecture. Experience driving silicon architecture from concept to working silicon, taking ownership for key features at a subsystem and/or chip-level. Experience writing SystemVerilog, Python, C/C++, Rust, or Bluespec. Track record of delivering innovative features and techniques in chips and systems related to ML, compute, networking, storage and related areas in shipping products. Experience with debugging architectural issues at silicon and system level with partner teams across: design, validation, system engineering, software and field support.
