Cable/Harness Technician
to join our team supporting a major aerospace and defense program in
Sierra Vista, AZ . In this role, you will assist with the manufacturing of complex wire harness assemblies, contributing to mission-critical aerospace systems. This is a full-time, on-site contract opportunity with long-term potential.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED U.S. citizenship (required due to program requirements) Basic understanding of manufacturing or electrical assembly Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to read and interpret work instructions, wiring diagrams, and schematics Physically capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications:
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification (highly preferred) J-STD-001 Certification Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance procedures Experience working in an aerospace or military manufacturing environment Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with leads and supervisors Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, rework, and inspect wire harnesses and electrical components per written instructions and blueprints Operate hand tools and measurement instruments such as calipers, rulers, and tape measures Report progress and technical concerns to team leads and manufacturing supervisors Ensure product quality and adherence to engineering specifications and company standards Assist in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices
