Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking several Assemblers to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting assembly and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. PRIMARILY IN NEED OF 2ND SHIFT.
Job Title:
Assemblers
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Pay Range: $20.00/hr
Shifts:
1st Shift- 6am-2:30pm
2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm
3rd Shift:10:00pm-6:30am
What's the Job?
Assemble computer boards using small hand tools and add small components into designated slots and spaces
Perform inventory control tasks by scanning parts and entering information into IBM-specific software
Assist other departments by retrieving and delivering parts as needed to prevent production delays
Handle warehouse duties such as boxing and light shipping activities
Enter data accurately and efficiently to support inventory and production processes
What's Needed?
Basic computer skills for inventory control, including navigating and entering information into software
Ability to stand or sit for long periods as required during shifts
Comfort with repetitive tasks and fine motor skills for assembly work
Willingness to work Monday through Friday
No prior experience required; training will be provided
