Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing: Build Precision Assemblies: Perform a wide variety of hands-on operations to create high-reliability electro-mechanical and electronic assemblies that support mission-critical defense systems.
Craft with Confidence: Assemble components, subassemblies, and modules using visual aids, samples, prints, routers, and process sheets-bringing designs to life with the right tools and machinery.
Secure & Strengthen: Use solder, fasteners, and adhesives to build durable electronic assemblies, ensuring every detail meets strict compliance standards. Rework when needed to maintain excellence.
Wire It Right: Execute wire termination, install wire harnesses and cable assemblies, and place capacitors, resistors, and other electronic components with precision and care.
Bond with Gold: Perform wire and ribbon bonding using assorted sizes of gold wire and ribbon-delicate, high-skill work that demands focus and finesse.

Qualifications
Minimum:
HS Diploma or GED 2 years' experience Able to interpret and understand instructions, including technical drawings Current solder experience (J-STD certification) Continuous improvement mindset Demonstrated Time management and organization skills This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license) Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred:
Wire bonding skills 3 years' experience preferred Assembly in defense, aerospace, or military work environment Able to work under a microscope using epoxies, wire and ribbon bond using semi-automated bonding equipment, hand tools, measurement tools Preference for a team-oriented work environment, where all are focused on what matters most - our customer's needs
Hourly Range: Assembler II: $20.29 - $28.42; (Eatontown NJ). Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. CAES provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401K, paid holidays and vacation.
