Job Summary
The College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking Serology - Virology Lab Student Assistants to support our Serology - Virology Lab team.
Essential Functions
· General Equipment Maintenance / Cleaning
· Autoclaving
· Sample Preparation for Testing
· Maintain Liquid Nitrogen Supply
· Make Buffers / Solutions
· Maintain Supplies
· Chemical Waste Management
· Accession specimens
· File, scan, and copy paperwork
· Maintain safe and clean work environment
· Order / Package Opening and Storing
Often exposed to one or more elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
· Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student
· Planning to stay at least 2 semesters.
· Must be available to work weekdays
* Lab Operating Hours 8am-5pm (no weekend work)
Preferred Qualifications
Pay Rate
$12.00-$14.00/hour
