Travel Radiology Tech - $1,568 per week in Redding, CA

Job Title: Radiology Tech Per Diem (Day & Night Shifts) Location: Shasta Regional Medical Center California Position Summary: Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking experienced and dependable Radiologic Technologists (Radiology Techs) to join our Per Diem Imaging Pool for both day and night shifts . The Radiology Tech performs diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, and state regulations while ensuring quality imaging and compassionate, safe patient care. Key Responsibilities: Perform general diagnostic radiology procedures per physician order and hospital standards. Prepare, position, and monitor patients to ensure comfort and proper imaging technique. Operate X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment safely in compliance with CDPH radiation safety standards . Process and transmit images to PACS for physician interpretation. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure imaging records are complete and compliant. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to ensure efficient workflow. Follow all hospital infection control, safety, and radiation protection policies. Qualifications: California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required Fluoroscopy permit (CDPH) required within 6 months of hire per state regulation BLS (AHA) certification required Venipuncture certificate required if administering contrast media 1 years of recent hospital radiology experience preferred EPIC and PACS system proficiency preferred Shift Details: Type: Per Diem (Pool) Shifts Available: Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM Schedule: Rotating weekends and holiday coverage as needed Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Departmentaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
