General Description

The Associate Graphic Designer (Production Focus) will support the Product Development and Design team in creating factory-ready artwork concepts, production tech packs, and image mockups for licensed sports products across a range of categories. This role is highly detail-oriented and requires a strong understanding of design-to-production processes, ensuring that all creative assets meet licensing, brand, and manufacturing standards.

This designer will be instrumental in developing tech packs, translating creative concepts into precise, production-ready artwork and mechanicals for a wide range of products — including hard and soft goods for the home and office.

Primary Responsibilities

• Produce accurate production tech packs and detailed image mockups for internal and external presentations, packaging and online selling.
• Ensure all designs comply with league, team, and brand guidelines while maintaining visual consistency across all product lines.
• Collaborate closely with Graphics, Product Development, Sales, and Licensing teams to translate concepts into fully realized production files.
• Manage artwork revisions and updates based on feedback and licensing approvals.
• Maintain and organize digital production files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility using Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, Dropbox & LEAP
• Support design execution for events, product launches, and packaging.
• Participate in troubleshooting art for various printing processes, ensuring quality and color accuracy in production.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Proven experience preparing factory-ready art files, tech packs, and image mockups
• Familiarity with print production and color separation processes.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to travel via air or car to trade shows as needed.
