Talent Group is hiring: Human Resources Manager in Sacramento

Overview

We’re seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of HR operations and employee engagement for a dynamic organization in the Sacramento area. This role is ideal for a confident HR leader who enjoys being hands-on, mentoring others, and creating a positive and compliant workplace culture.

The HR Manager will serve as a trusted partner to leadership, supporting initiatives across employee relations, performance management, benefits, compliance, and talent development.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR contact for all employees and leadership teams
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and coaching with professionalism and fairness
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and performance improvement plans
• Advise on leave management, compliance, and HR policy interpretation
• Partner with leadership to develop retention, engagement, and recognition strategies
• Monitor and analyze HR trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• Lead and mentor HR support staff or generalists

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and compliance
• Strong working knowledge of California employment law and best practices
• Experience supporting leaders in manufacturing, logistics, or professional services industries
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on HR execution
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (PHR/SPHR a plus)
• Bilingual Spanish skills a plus, but not required

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Bonus: Annual discretionary bonus
