Review and assess third-party vendors and service providers for privacy and data protection risks; manage ongoing vendor risk reviews and documentation.
Advise product, marketing, and growth teams on global privacy compliance for features, user communications, consent management, and analytics.
Lead Linktree’s cookie compliance program, including consent banner operations and categorization of cookies.
Partner closely with engineering and product teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions, ensuring privacy-by-design is embedded at every stage.
Perform gap assessments and translate into technical or operational requirements for existing and upcoming privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, UK OSA, AU Social Media Age Act).
Drive continuous improvement of privacy training, awareness programs, and internal communications.
Who We’re Looking For
5+ years of privacy compliance experience at a technology company.
A strategic, pragmatic approach to privacy that balances regulatory requirements with business needs.
Passion for building scalable frameworks, processes, documentation, and tools that promote accountability and transparency.
Strong ability to influence stakeholders across product, engineering, legal, and leadership.
Technical fluency and comfort working with engineering teams on data flows, system design, and platform controls.
Deep understanding of regulator enforcement actions and priorities, with the ability to anticipate risks and adapt Linktree’s approach accordingly.
Ability to form and leverage a strong network of privacy professionals, staying up to speed on industry trends, peer practices, and regulatory developments.
Excellent project management and organizational skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
Commitment to ethical data stewardship and user trust.
