CND Life Sciences The Director of Product Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive customer awareness, adoption, utilization, retention, and loyalty for CND's cutaneous neurodiagnostics products, starting with the Syn-One Test and Small-Fiber Dx. This role leads the creation of comprehensive product marketing plans, including market segmentation, targeting, positioning, brand strategy, and messaging alignment to support corporate objectives. The Director works cross-functionally with the Marketing, Sales, Clinical Services, Medical Affairs, and Operations teams to ensure effective go-to-market execution and sustained product engagement with customers.

Job Responsibilities

Gain a deep understanding of the unique needs of key customer stakeholders across the ecosystem by conducting in-depth market research, analyzing customer needs, pain points, market trends, and competitor activity. Serve as subject matter expert for the Syn-One product franchise, with strong knowledge of the neurology disease state, treatment landscape, patient journey, and evolving market dynamics. In collaboration with the Director of Branding and Creative Services and agency partners, develop a clear product positioning strategy that defines the brand's value proposition and messaging to effectively communicate product benefits to target audiences. Create and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, including product-line extension launch planning, channel strategy, and promotional campaigns. Help create annual Product Marketing budgets and goals for volume growth and revenue for core products. Collaborate with Market Access leaders on pricing and reimbursement strategies and support payer contracting processes when needed. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the customer journey and associated touchpoints, continuously identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience. Partner closely with the Sales and Clinical Services teams, incorporating feedback and ensuring alignment with product marketing strategy, while providing the tools and support needed to effectively engage customers. Deliver product training and resources to the Sales team, highlight features, benefits, and selling strategies to drive performance. Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, reporting progress toward goals and optimizing tactics as needed to drive brand success. Manage the marketing budget efficiently to ensuring alignment with brand objectives and return on investment. Apply strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills to meet deadlines, identify risks and bring solutions to market quickly. Collaborate with internal partners -including Sales, Medical Affairs, Clinical Services, and Patient Advocacy - to support seamless execution and evaluation of brand initiatives. Evaluate brand performance regulatory and work closely with the broader marketing team to refine and adjust tactical plans as necessary. Coordinate with Regulatory, Legal, Medical, and CMC teams to ensure all marketing materials and product-related content are compliant with internal policies and external regulations. Maintain a strong understanding of FDA regulations and guidance related to the advertising and promotion of medical devices and laboratory developed tests (LDTs).

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Minimum of 5-10 years of proven experience as a Product Manager, Brand Manager, or Product Marketing Manager for a lead medical diagnostics product or comparable medical device. Experience in neurology and/or diagnostics marketing is strongly preferred. Deep understanding of marketing strategy development and the ability to build and execute comprehensive marketing plans. Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to interpreting market research and customer insights. Skilled in clearly articulating product value propositions to internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to drive results. Capable of multitasking, work independently and within multidisciplinary teams, exercising sound judgment, and escalating issues appropriately. Proactive and detail-oriented work style with a commitment to high-quality deliverables and meeting deadlines. Professional demeanor and commitment to fostering respectful relationships with colleagues, customers, partners, and vendors. Solid understanding of healthcare markets and the needs and dynamics of clinician and patient audiences.

Education, Certifications & Licensures

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or a related field is required. Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.

Other

Combination of seated and standing work to complete the core functions of the role Occasional travel required for trade shows, conferences, visits to company headquarters, and other business-related events. This role is an onsite position at the company's headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ or Atlanta office. Boston will also be considered.
