Our client has an open position for a Desktop Support Technician. The position will be located in Frankfort, KY, and Initially the candidate will be installing computers in Franklin and surrounding counties.
Responsibilities:
Utilize strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders. Provide desktop support and troubleshoot software issues to ensure smooth IT operations. Demonstrate excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving technical problems promptly. Utilize ServiceNow platform for ticket management and efficient workflow. Apply computer skills to assist in network configurations and IT infrastructure maintenance. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality communication solutions. Required Skill Sets:
1-3 years of IT experience as a Desktop Support technician with experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues with hardware and software systems, providing general desktop support duties with excellent troubleshooting skills. well-versed in computer systems and be able to set up hardware, install and configure software and drivers. Reliable attendance. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Computer equipment configuration, setup, and installation. Experience in ticketing software (preferably ServiceNow). Ability to work under pressure. Hardware and software experience.
