Overview
IT Specialist Expert acting as QA tester will lead testing efforts for WCB applications and projects including P4 ecae, CIS modernization, P2 eforms, and P5 - ECR/ORPS Modernization. The role is to uncover and investigate defects, identify root causes, generate reports, and share findings with WCB ITS Business Solutions and other stakeholders. Assess the overall quality of applications by performing manual, automated, and performance tests using various QA tools. Day-to-Day Tasks
Create and maintain test plans, test strategy documents, test scripts, tests, test scenarios, and test matrices for WCB applications. Perform test and defect management using tools like HP ALM and/or JIRA. Assist and provide QA activities through all phases of the system development life cycle and ensure testing milestones and dates are met. Perform test execution, analyze test results, and prepare reports. Estimate test effort for projects and provide estimations; plan to ensure testing milestones and dates are met. Create and execute automated test cases and suites for functional and regression testing using tools such as UFT, Selenium for multiple applications, and automated frameworks. Perform back-end testing, data validation, data analysis, data migration, and execute SQL queries. Perform integration testing and run automation suites with CI/CD tools. Perform web services testing using SOAP UI / Postman and REST API testing using Rest Assured / Java. Create performance test plans, test scripts, and test data for performance testing; review bottlenecks, baselines, and scalability. Develop automation scripts for native mobile applications using Appium. Perform accessibility testing to ensure ADA Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 compliance. Update and maintain scripts using programming languages such as Java, VB, and JavaScript. Mandatory Qualifications

84 months of experience creating and executing automated test scripts and suites for functional and regression testing using automated tools such as UFT, Selenium, Cypress or Playwright for multiple applications with automated frameworks. 84 months performing load testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad; experience in creating and maintaining performance test plans, test scripts, test data, reviewing bottlenecks, baselines, and scalability. 72 months of experience performing web services testing using SOAP UI / Postman and automated REST API testing using Rest Assured / Java. 72 months of experience in back-end testing, data validation, data analysis, data migration, ETL testing and executing SQL queries. 72 months of experience as a QA team lead with expertise in handling multiple projects simultaneously. 72 months of experience planning, designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and managing defects using HP ALM or JIRA.
