In this dynamic position, you\'ll work both independently and alongside seasoned mentors, gaining hands-on experience and expanding your technical expertise. As a Project Engineer, you\'ll lead design efforts on mid-sized projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance. You\'ll mentor junior engineers, coordinate with design teams, and deliver high-quality analyses and reviews. You\'ll engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements, flag challenges to the Project Manager, and support business development. Your role also includes reviewing drawings, participating in quality control, and driving process improvements\u2014all while maintaining a strong focus on precision and efficiency. This is a hybrid role and can be based in Madison, WI, Cedar Rapids, IA, or Chicago, IL. Responsibilities
Lead design efforts on mid-sized projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance. Mentor junior engineers, coordinate with design teams, and deliver high-quality analyses and reviews. Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements, flag challenges to the Project Manager, and support business development. Review drawings, participate in quality control, and drive process improvements. Maintain a strong focus on precision and efficiency while collaborating with senior engineers. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum of 4 years of work experience in the pipeline industry or a related industry. Experience in natural gas design or civil utility projects. Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) License. Preferred: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. What We Offer
