Overview
Purpose of the position: Supplier management & issue handling & customer service. Duties and Responsibilities
Supplier Development & Qualification
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements to align with regulatory and corporate requirements
Quality Issue Resolution & Corrective Actions
Investigate supplier-related defects using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5Why, CAPA) Drive root cause analysis and verify corrective/preventive actions to prevent recurrence Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely supplier response
Supplier Performance Monitoring & Improvement
Define and track supplier KPIs such as PPM (Parts Per Million), defect rates, and on-time delivery Conduct periodic supplier scorecard reviews and implement improvement plans Facilitate supplier training on quality standards, statistical methods (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA)
Quality System & Process Compliance
Ensure suppliers adhere to APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) Validate supplier manufacturing processes (e.g., GR&R, DOE, process capability studies) Support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO, customer-specific requirements)
Cross-functional Collaboration & Customer Support
Work with internal teams to align supplier quality with product design (DFM/DFQ) Address customer complaints related to supplier quality and ensure timely resolution Participate in New Product Development phases to mitigate quality risks early
Education and work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Material, or related field). 2+ years of supplier quality experience in consumer electronics manufacturing and product analysis. Proficiency in quality tools (SPC, FMEA, MSA, Six Sigma) Strong communication skills for global supplier interactions (fluency in English required; additional a plus) Working conditions
Office-based role, fast-paced work environment This position must be able to respond to after-hour emergencies and be available to work non-core hours or overtime to complete various projects without interruption to operations. Skills
SQE working experience in SMT/Test/Assembly factory required. Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English. Proactive in work and strong resilience. PMP certificate are . Capability to manage a team and planning.
