Product Engineer, Senior
The Senior RF Product Engineer will be working within our PE team and interfacing closely with R&D. A successful candidate will be responsible for product introduction, improving and maintaining released products. Interface with product lines, report and monitor yields and performance trends. Work with contract manufacturers, wafer fabs and other engineering teams on continuous improvement activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Generate and present run charts and statistical process control (SPC) charts
Report yield fluctuations and be involved in resolving their cause
Daily interaction with the production engineers for feedback and troubleshooting
Review test data and release product to finished goods inventory
Statistical data analysis to define product, production capabilities and propose manufacturing specs
Generate specifications and sorting algorithms for new products
Generate test requirements for new product development
Generate internal part numbers and BOM for new products
Generate and optimize automated test IDs and release them
Support reliability and Test teams in new product qualification and failure analysis
Qualifications
BS degree in Engineering; MS preferred
Five years of relevant work experience in the field of semiconductor-based product design, development, RF testing or characterization
In-depth understanding of statistics
Ability to write software to electronically allocate devices by test performance
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Familiar with RF testing and troubleshooting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred skills
Six Sigma green belt or above
Knowledge of SQL, Python, C, Matlab, MS Excel, JMP
General knowledge of MS Windows operating systems and computer networking
Knowledge of SAP and Agile desirable but not essential
Knowledge of RF amplifiers and subsystem assemblies
