Plumbing Service & Repair Technician (Residential & Commercial)

Plumbing Service & Repair Technician

What You\'ll Be Doing: Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing a wide range of plumbing systems and components. Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Executing assigned

work orders

efficiently and accurately for both commercial businesses and residential homes.

Performing diagnostics and skilled repairs on plumbing fixtures, including:

Faucets, lavatories, toilets, flush valves, showers, and kitchen sinks.

Repairing and replacing various types of valves and water lines.

Addressing common drainage issues, including clearing clogs and conducting minor drain repairs.

Installing, maintaining, and repairing

water heaters

and

garbage disposals .

Customer & Documentation

Providing exceptional

customer service

by communicating clearly, explaining complex issues, and presenting repair/installation options to the client.

Completing all necessary paperwork and digital documentation accurately and promptly after each service call.

Maintaining a clean, organized work area and ensuring the company vehicle is fully stocked.

Required Qualifications & Experience We are looking for self-motivated professionals who meet the following criteria:

Technical & Professional

Minimum of

2+ years of hands-on experience

performing service and repair in the field of residential and commercial plumbing.

Proven diverse skill set covering a wide array of plumbing systems and fixtures.

A

valid local Driver's License

with a

clean driving abstract

(MVR) is mandatory.

Strong

oral and written communication skills

for effective client interaction and work order documentation.

Physical & Attitude

Ability to

move and lift equipment/parts

in excess of

75 lbs

unassisted.

Must be able to physically perform job duties, including:

Walking indoors/outdoors, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, working on rooftops, and using scissor lifts or other aerial equipment.

Demonstrated

positive attitude , strong work ethic, and a genuine

customer service focus .

A desire to continuously learn, develop, and master new skills.

Highly Preferred (Bonus Qualifications)

Possession of an

individual plumbing license

(Apprentice, Journeyman, or Master) is a significant plus and can be negotiated for higher starting pay.

Experience with advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., sewer camera inspection).

Prior experience with flat rate pricing or commission-based sales models.

Work Schedule & Expectations

Typical Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

On-Call Rotation : Required to participate in the

emergency on-call shift rotation

for one week per month.
