COE-ERS Electrical Services Major Account Manager Data Centers - Remote

Electrical Reliability Services, Inc. is seeking a Major Account Manager focused on Data Center construction and maintenance support for specific named end user accounts. This role requires the ability to navigate at all organizational levels, including high-level executives, to identify and document growth strategies for key accounts/markets and to guide the organization regarding account opportunities. Responsibilities

Aggressively pursue and close all business opportunities within assigned Accounts/Markets. Develop and manage a Strategic Business Plan for each Account/Market to drive corporate and local opportunities with each client. Collaborate with Service Center Managers and Local Sales Executives to strengthen ERS’ relationships with the accounts. Develop key relationships, identify opportunities, coordinate service quotations, work with management and local sales on pricing strategies, close business, and follow up on customer issues. Provide accurate reporting and effective communication with customers, company associates, and management. Communicate effectively across a matrixed organization. Qualifications

BS/BA in Business Management, Business Administration, Sales/Marketing, or Electrical Engineering. Extensive industry-specific experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree. 7–10 years of direct B2B sales experience in a technical field (service sales preferred) with 2–3 years in major account relationship management for large, national, multisite clients. Preferred Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of electrical distribution systems. Ability to read electrical one-line drawings. Experience with Data Center construction, project management strategies, and execution. Experience in selling services; strong organizational skills and multi-priority management. Excellent problem-solving abilities and capability to resolve contract and service issues. Strong communication, organizational, and management skills; experience delivering presentations to management. Understanding of Fortune 500 purchasing processes; ability to work well in a team and collaborate with all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Valid Driver’s License; 50% travel required.
