Financial Services and Banking Key Responsibilities
Establish, update, and communicate accounting policies aligned with GAAP and SEC requirements. Lead compliance efforts, including internal control design, testing, remediation, and process improvement. Research and advise on technical accounting issues, new standards, and emerging regulations. Support financial reporting accuracy and oversee disclosure controls. Manage and develop team members while collaborating with leadership and auditors. Qualifications
CPA required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with both public accounting and corporate roles. Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting Excellent analytical, technical accounting, and communication skills. Experience in asset management or other regulated industries preferred.
