We\u2019re looking for an Account Executive to join our Mid-Market Sales organization focusing on companies with up to 2,500 employees. Hex has been building momentum in the market and is expanding a world-class sales team. In this role, you\u2019ll report to our Mid-Market Sales Leader and will strategize and close new business while expanding our footprint with existing customers. San Francisco-based role with a compensation package that reflects market ranges and individual experience. Responsibilities
Responsible for building new pipeline and driving revenue within your assigned territory Deeply understand your customers\' business challenges and how to position Hex as the solution Partner with Sales Engineering to run discovery and demos Manage the sales cycle including lead generation, qualification and other deliverables for closing deals while consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals Provide input back to engineering, product management and marketing Create and deliver accurate forecasts About You
Have 3+ years of experience in a full cycle SaaS sales role in technical software in the data, DS/ML, or analytics space Understand and be able to teach complex technical concepts Can speak confidently about the challenges data practitioners encounter in their day-to-day workflows Passionate / curious about the data & analytics space Capable of managing a large pipeline of complex opportunities Capable / willing to learn basic SQL (if you haven\u2019t already) Possess an enthusiasm for working as part of a team and an ability to partner successfully with cross-functional peers such as product, engineering, customer success, etc. Be comfortable in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment Love giving and receiving feedback Compensation & Benefits
The on-target-earnings (OTE) for this role is: $220,000 - $240,000. The salary range shown may reflect factors such as location and skill levels. Placement in the salary range will be determined during the interview process, with consideration for growth potential, internal parity, your demonstrated skills, and experience.
