Sr. Office Engineer
for high-profile NYCT assignments. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee and maintain project record logs (Submittals, Payments, RFIs, Change Orders, submittals, Subcontractor tracking, NCRs, CPM submissions etc.), ensuring they are properly organized and easily accessible to the PMC team and client through A-Site or other project information systems. Support contract administration, including invoices, change orders, and claims. Track schedules, monitor contractor progress, and report potential delays. Assist with budget tracking, cost reports, and payment applications. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and ensure contract compliance. Coordinate between design teams, contractors, inspectors, and management. Provide field support by documenting site conditions and verifying quantities. Ensure compliance with MTA safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Support construction management teams in the field as needed. Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and project correspondence. Support project closeout with as-built drawings, warranties, commissioning and final documentation. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of relevant Office Engineer experience required MTA Track Safety Training and OSHA 30 Certificate are a must. Experience with
NYCT (MTA, AMTRAK, LIRR etc.) or similar agencies . Ability to lead, mentor, and influence diverse project teams. Excellent communication and analytical skills, with strong reporting capabilities. Proficiency in A-site and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
