We are looking for a passionate and skilled Group Facilitator to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.
The Group Facilitator will be responsible for leading therapeutic group sessions, providing support to clients in a clinical setting, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in group therapy facilitation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a safe and supportive environment for clients. This is a full-time position.
Position Overview
Facilitate group therapy sessions for clients dealing with mental health issues, or co-occurring disorders. Develop and implement group curriculum tailored to the needs of clients. Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other staff to ensure comprehensive treatment plans are followed. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes. Monitor client participation and progress, adjusting the approach as necessary to meet therapeutic goals. Provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space for clients to share and engage in group activities. Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training opportunities. Adhere to all organizational policies and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (preferred) Experience facilitating group therapy in a mental health or addiction treatment setting. Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices. Ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and build therapeutic rapport. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Licensed or license-eligible as a therapist (preferred) CPR and First Aid certification Compensation
