Responsibilities You’ll be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and how to make strategic recommendations to customers. By performing 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces and everything in between, you’ll solve problems and build trusted relationships ensuring homes and families are protected. You’ll listen to needs and clearly explain practical solutions to win over customers with confidence and care.

Serve as an

problem solver by utilizing training to recommend the best

innovative

pest solutions for each customer’s needs.

Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads—robust advertising supports your pipeline.

Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain how Orkin’s products and services provide peace of mind.

Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home and explain findings and next steps.

Make recommendations based on inspections, address questions, and set expectations.

Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized; training is provided.

Qualifications What do you need to be successful?

High School Diploma or equivalent required

No Experience Required

Valid driver’s license required

Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)

Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients

Work Environment Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the duties with or without accommodations:

Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity

Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling

Wear PPE, which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator

Willing to work in different weather conditions
